During the learning process of this subject, the lectures has introduced me some of the basic architectural terminologies used to describe building patterns. From learning how to capture the image and trace it, to draw the hidden world on axnometric grid, to how to use digital technology (paneling tools in Rhino) to develop the fabric, etc. Also, because of all the works has been moved from ‘studio-based’ to ‘technology-base’ learning strategy, I learned to use a lot of digital techs to complete this semester’s work. For example, in module 3, the panel (surface) should be hand fold, but we did it by appling the paneling tools at Rhino. At the beginning of this subject, I do not understand why should I draw a crossiant to such a details, what is the purpose of this process. And now, I get to know that by capturing and draw the section cut, it can helps me to define the spatial characteristics of the croissant and get to know more some of the drawing techniques. In the end, how Module 3 projections was delivered is not as successful as I think, because I did not have chance to get to know Rhino well before I worked on it. To improve it, I have watched lots of tutorials online that introduce me som eof the commands of Rhino. Overall, I think this subject is really worthy, because I have learned lots of fundamental skills, which can pave the way for my future study.
